ALEXIA VOULGARIDOU returns to her homelandAlexia Voulgaridou is back to her homeland, Greece, where she will be the star of a solo recital at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, on December 4, 2009.  The Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra under Italian conductor Francesco La Vecchia, will accompany Ms. Voulgaridou in arias by Gounod, Cilea, Leoncavallo, Massenet, Puccini and Verdi.

Alexia is now in Greece singing Verdi’s Requiem with the National Symphony Orchestra at the summer Greek festival Athens & Epidaurus Festival 2009. The last week of July she will fly to Caracas to perform Micaela with the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel. Alexia will be in Caracas performing at the Teresa Careño Theater from July 27 to August 8, 2009.
