Ms. Voulgaridou will perform on July 17, 2021, a special concert: on July 17, 1822, the battle of Peta results in a dead defeat by the Greeks. The Municipality of Hydra, to honour those who sacrificed themselves for Greece and in general those who actively helped the Greek case, in collaboration with the German Embassy in Athens, assigned the internationally distinguished composer, Constantia Gourzi, to compose a work based on poetry by the great German Philhellenic poet Wilhem Miller. German and Greek musicians are traveling to Hydra to perform the concert at the Perivolos of the Metropolitan Church.
