Alexia Voulgaridou is in the middle of a wonderful year both personal and professional. She has just performed at La Scala the role of Mimi, in the production by Franco Zefirelli conducted by Gustavo Dudamel with a huge success. In February she was Mimi in Berlin at the Staatsoper, in March she flew to Palermo to sing Anna Bolena in a production of Graham Vick, May saw her singing Liu in Valencia under Zubin Mehta, and this season starts with her debut at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London, singing Mimi in October, right before returning to her beloved Palau de les Arts in Valencia under Lorin Maazel , to make her stage debut there as Luisa Miller, opposite to Marcelo Alvarez.
