ALEXIA VOULGARIDOU RETURNS TO LA SCALA
Alexia Voulgaridou returns to Italy to perform the role of Micaela in a new production of Carmen of Teatro alla Scala under conductor Gustavo Dudamel. The première will take place on October 29, further performances continue until November 18, 2010. Ms. Voulgaridou has won praise for her Micaela in the US, performed last August under Dudamel at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
